What is verified
Steam lists Online Co-op for DragonSword: Awakening. The official 1.0.9 update also refers to Quick Entry, multiplayer lobbies, and lobby search settings. That is enough to explain the feature without inventing a universal matchmaking rule that the developer has not published.
Quick Entry is not proof of a shared campaign
The Steam store page confirms Online Co-op, but our checked official sources do not currently describe a fully shared open-world or story campaign. Treat Quick Entry as a route into the supported activity you selected, not as a promise that every part of the game can be played together.
When the flow looks different from a guide
Updates can move labels and change lobby behaviour. If your screen does not match an older video, follow the live in-game interface, confirm the game version, and try a fresh lobby with Wide search range before assuming the feature is broken.
